Create a personalized song — start with your story

A standard order is delivered within 2 business days, and with express delivery your song is ready within 24 hours of payment. The process is the same either way: we turn the story from your order form into lyrics, produce the track in your chosen genre, and a real person checks the finished song before it goes out. You'll get an order confirmation right after checkout and a download e-mail as soon as the song is ready. If you're ordering for a specific date — a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary — the safe play is to order at least 2–3 days ahead; for last-minute gifts, express delivery exists exactly for that. Every song also includes one free revision within 14 days of delivery, so a tight deadline never means settling for a detail you'd like changed.

Joyla is an online service that creates original personalized songs — custom lyrics and music written around one specific person and their story. You tell us who the song is for, the occasion, and a few details or memories; we turn them into a complete, polished track with their name and your story in the lyrics. Songs start at $39.99, are delivered digitally within 2 business days (24-hour express available), and every single one is checked by a real person before delivery. Joyla songs are made for gifting: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Mother's Day, or just because. More than 1,000 customers have already gifted one.

Three steps. First, you fill out the order form — who the song is for, the occasion, the genre, and the stories or details you want in the lyrics; it takes about 5–10 minutes. Second, we write lyrics from your story, produce the track, and have a real person check the result before it's sent to you. Third, you receive an e-mail with a protected download link to your finished MP3 — within 2 business days as standard, or within 24 hours with express delivery. If you'd like anything adjusted after you listen, one revision is free within 14 days. You can order several songs in one checkout, and payment is handled securely by Stripe.

A custom song starts at $39.99, and that price includes everything: custom lyrics written from your story, full music production in the genre you choose, delivery as a high-quality MP3, and one free revision within 14 days. There are no hidden fees — the exact price in your currency is shown in the configurator before you pay, and the only optional extras are add-ons you actively choose, like 24-hour express delivery. For comparison, a traditionally studio-produced custom song typically costs several times more, which is what makes a personalized song a realistic gift rather than a luxury. If you order several songs in one checkout — say, one for each parent — each song is priced individually and delivered together.

Every order includes one free revision within 14 days of delivery. If anything feels off — a mispronounced name, a detail you'd phrase differently, a vibe that isn't quite them — just reply to your delivery e-mail and tell us what to change. We'll rework the song and send you an updated version at no extra cost. This is also backed by our written Refund & Revision Policy: reworks for content you'd like changed are free once per song, and technical faults are always fixed or refunded in full. Since every song is checked by a real person before delivery, big misses are rare — the revision is there so the small ones never stick.

The most popular occasions are birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries, followed by Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, graduations, and retirements. A custom song also works for thank-yous, apologies, declarations of love, farewells to a colleague, or no occasion at all — some of the best reactions come from songs gifted “just because”. If the recipient matters more than the calendar, browse our gift pages by recipient — mom, dad, wife, husband, best friend and more — for ideas and real examples for each.

Four things: the occasion, the recipient's name, a few details about them, and the vibe or genre you have in mind. The details are what make the song personal — nicknames, running jokes, shared memories, the things they always say or do. You don't need to write anything polished; bullet points in the order form are enough, and the form takes about 5–10 minutes. As a rule of thumb, 3–5 concrete details give the lyrics plenty to work with. The more specific you are (“she burns every pancake but we eat them anyway”), the more the song will sound like it could only be about them.

By e-mail, as a high-quality MP3 (at least 192 kbps) behind a protected download link. The link stays active for 30 days, and the file is yours to keep forever — download it, play it on any device, or play it at the party straight from your phone. If you ordered several songs in one order, one e-mail covers all of them. Standard delivery is within 2 business days; express orders arrive within 24 hours of payment. If the e-mail doesn't show up, check your spam folder first, then write to hello@getjoyla.com and we'll re-send your link.

Yes — the song is yours to share. Post it on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or anywhere else, play it at the wedding, or send it in the family group chat. Filming the recipient's reaction while they hear it for the first time is a favourite — those videos are usually the best part. If you do share, we'd love a tag so others can discover Joyla, but it's entirely up to you.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment providers — Joyla never sees or stores your card details. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and checkout supports 9 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD and CAD, so you always see the price in your own currency before confirming. You pay once, up front — there are no subscriptions and no hidden charges, and the order confirmation arrives by e-mail immediately after payment.

Yes. After delivery you have one free revision within 14 days — reply to your delivery e-mail with what you'd like changed (a lyric, a name's pronunciation, the overall vibe) and we'll rework the song and send an updated version for free. Before production, you can also add notes in the order form about anything that must (or must not) appear in the lyrics. For bigger changes outside the free revision — a different genre version of the same song, or edits after the 14-day window — write to hello@getjoyla.com and we'll find a solution.

First check your spam or promotions folder — that's where it hides in most cases. The confirmation is sent automatically right after successful payment, and the delivery e-mail follows within 2 business days (or 24 hours for express orders). If you still can't find either e-mail, write to hello@getjoyla.com with the name and e-mail address you used at checkout, and we'll re-send your link right away. Your song and your download link are never lost — the order is safely stored on our side.

Yes. We use modern tools, including AI, to help write the lyrics and produce the music and vocals. The story, the names and the memories are yours, though, and a real person checks every song before it's sent: the facts, the lyrics and how names are pronounced. Every song also includes one free revision within 14 days of delivery, so if anything feels off, we'll fix it at no extra cost.
